greeNEWit CCO To Speak at Startup Maryland Launch

COLLEGE PARK, MD – Startup Maryland announced that it will formally launch its effort to ignite entrepreneurship and bring together the incredible resources Maryland has in its innovation eco-system. greeNEWit Chief Communication Officer Jason Jannati was invited to speak about his experience working with the initiative, which strives to drive visibility and greater outcomes for entrepreneurs, at the formal kick-off event on March 30, 2012.

“Startup Maryland is honored to announce a full-slate of Maryland-themed celebrations of innovation and entrepreneurship,” stated Michael Binko and Julie Lenzer Kirk, members of the Startup Maryland Organizing Board.  “Be forewarned – if participants are not prepared with some sort of helmet or protective-Armour the energy of this event may prove to be too much for them to handle,” they added.

From the Welcome Message by Scott Case (CEO of Startup America Partnership) to the Closing Conversation with Kevin Plank (Founder and CEO of Under Armour) Startup Maryland Launch Day will be packed with some surprises related to the following themes:

• Maryland Pride
• Maryland … A State of Innovation?
• Entrepreneurship is a Full-Contact Sport?
